Harvest from July 1st. 5 grams of basil.
Harvest from July 3rd. 8.5oz strawberries.
Lazy Chicken Cacciatore. I used chicken nuggets from the freezer - no thawing of chicken breasts and messy breading of said chicken. Eh, it's okay. Edible and semi-filling, but not 5-star.
The yard from the chain-link fence behind the asparagus.
Said asaparagus. Those are Kootenai tomatoes underneath. They seem to like it there.
The asparagus bed and blueberry/blackberry bed.
Blackberries trying to do their thing.
Little blueberries.
Raspberries. Have a few trying to turn pink.

You can see some of hubby's firewood behind the fence there. He cut off a bunch of branches from that decorative plum - totally opened up that corner.

Tomatoes that I really need to go weed. It's getting scary out there.
The white PVC trellis has tomatoes by it, the giant grape is up the trellis, and hubby planted the hops and some twine there in the middle of the grape trellis. Surrounded by zucchini. Hope hops like zukes.
Corn, melons, garlic, potatoes. Need to weed the left half there. Scariness.
Two of the raised beds with the trellises in the background there.
What's inside/under the trellises.
The caged peas. Seem to be doing okay so far.
He fell asleep there. Wondered why it had gotten so quiet.
Squeezing lots of lemons. Also zested to dry that to stash in the pantry.
Canned up strawberry lemonade concentrate.
The aftermath. Still working on cleaning it up - goes in phases as we need breaks and time to let the dishwasher do it's thing.

to me that would be lazy Chicken Parmesan, not Chicken Cacciatore... cacciatore has peppers onions and isn't breaded but stewed chicken.
you are so amazing with all that you do! your garden looks great. What a great idea about making the zest and drying it!
Congratulations by the way!
