  • Harvests and all kinds of goodies

Parsley and thyme yanked from the garden for turkey stock on July 3rd.

Also found a few other goodies that day.

Turkey stock.  I don't like that 6qt crockpot.  It burns things, even on low.  Grrr.

July 9th harvest... 1.1oz of (Tribute) strawberries.

    And 4.7oz of raspberries.

The other day I went and got my teeth cleaned.  And pilfered seven, yes, seven toothbrushes from the dentist.  With permission of course.

A Royal Anne cherry tree.  From 1876 I think is what my cherry guy said.  I need to see if he'll give me a scion/cutting for it.  That's just too cool.

We came home with 13lbs of Chinook cherries.  They're yummy.

Got my cherry guy to take a picture of us.

It used to be a white onesie.  It's on it's third kid.  Eh.

Pitting cherries always makes the kitchen look like someone was murdered there.  Really need to see about getting a pitter with the plunger and hopper.  Easier on the hands.

I needed rice krispie treats one night.  Good thing I have a stash of the ingredients in the pantry.

Hubby made fries one night.  Yum.  We pretty much just ate those and some fruit.  Not bad.
